George Galloway wins Rochdale by-election which will send ‘shockwaves through the corridors of power’

Goerge Galloway has won the Rochdale by-election which will send “shockwaves through the corridors of power.”

Galloway said that this is a victory “for Gaza” and he warned the Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer that his problems “just got 100 times more serious” after he won the Rochdale seat.

The very outspoken MP won 40% of the vote and Labour came in at fourth place after the party was suspended whilst the campaign was ongoing.

Galloway said that this is now proof that British politics has now “shifted” after his shock win in Rochdale.

After the win  Galloway said, “Keir Starmer’s problems just got 100x more serious than they were before today.

“This is going to spark a movement, a shifting of the tectonic plates in scores of Parliamentary constituencies.

“Keir Starmer, this is for Gaza. And you will pay a high price, in enabling, encouraging and covering for, the catastrophe presently going on in occupied Palestine in the Gaza Strip.

“Rochdale town councillors, I put you on notice now, that I hope to put together a grand alliance…”

Galloway singled out the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Starmer saying that they are “two cheeks of the same backside, and they both got absolutely spanked tonight!”

The deputy leader of George Galloway’s Workers Party of Britain criticised the Conservative Party and Labour for “effectively facilitating the genocide in Gaza.”

Former Labour MP Chris Williamson told the BBC, “George Galloway is probably the best orator in the world.

“He’s now got a place in the corridors of power in Westminster, where the government and the official Opposition are effectively facilitating the genocide in Gaza.

“And so he will be able to speak truth to power.”

He added that Galloway’s victory in the Rochdale by election “will send shockwaves through the corridors of power.”
