If you’ve ever dreamt of getting into Andy Murray’s shoes, or better still, his pants, then you are going to love this news story.
The tennis superstar is rumoured to be considering launching his own brand after he registered his name as a trademark with the Intellectual Property Office, covering more than 100 items including lingerie, shoes, colouring books, trampolines and Halloween costumes.
The move comes after people not connected to Murray sent requests to the Intellectual Property Office to trademark “Andy Murray”, “Andy Murray Wimbledon Winner”, and “Andy Murray Tennis Champion”.
“It’s unlikely he’ll make millions selling sexy bras with ‘Andy Murray’ written on them but who knows? With this trademark being approved it means that he could if he ever wanted to,” a source told The Sun.
