Duchess of Sussex gives birth to a boy

Prince Harry’s wife Meghan Markle  gave birth to a boy on Monday, they are still debating a name for their baby who is seventh in line to the throne.

The royal baby weighed in at 7 lbs 3oz, the palace said both are healthy and well.

A proud Prince Harry told reporters at their Windsor home, “How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension but we’re both absolutely thrilled and so grateful to all the love and support from everybody out there.

“It was amazing, absolutely incredible. As I say, I am so incredibly proud of my wife and, as every father and parent would ever say your baby is absolutely amazing, this little thing is absolutely to die for.”

Megan’s mother Doria Ragland was with the couple at their home, Frogmore cottage in Windsor, the palace did not confirm if Megan gave birth at home or in hospital.

Meghan’s father Thomas Markle said he was delighted at the news.
