Boris confirms vaccine travel documents ‘definitely’ necessary

The Prime Minister, Boris Johnson has confirmed on Thursday that vaccine travel passports as there is “logic to that.”

He feels that the documents are “definitely” required to enable future travel globally which will also help the aviation and tourism sectors.

The global travel taskforce are to meet on 12 April to discuss how this could work along with the possibility of foreign travel.

Johnson said today, “There’s definitely going to be a world in which international travel will use vaccine passports

“I think when it comes to trying to make sure that we give maximum confidence to businesses and customers in the UK, there are three things, there’s immunity whether you have had it before so you have natural antibodies, whether you have been vaccinated, and of course whether you have had a test.

He added that vaccine travel passports are a hot topic among airline industry and with other countries, he said, “There’s a logic to that.”
