On Monday the British Prime Minister is to announce his roadmap out of the national lockdown in England where by parts of society and businesses will reopen including schools.
However, the Welsh First Minister Mark Drakeford has stressed that Boris Johnson’s announcement does not apply to anyone in Wales.
From today schools in Wales have reopened for the ages of three to seven, and the Welsh government are “looking at options” to reopen “shops and hairdressers.”
In a tweet Drakeford said, “When the Prime Minister sets out his roadmap today, please note this applies to England only.
“Here in Wales, we announced last week that we’re using the next 3 weeks to get more students back to school/college, and looking at options for re-opening shops and hairdressers.”
