Recuitment firm Robert Walters has said the coronavirus outbreak is set to hit its profits this year.
The company said the global recruitment market “remains unpredictable at present with the coronavirus outbreak, which is likely to negatively impact full-year profit expectations, adding a further layer of uncertainty”.
“We will continue to monitor the coronavirus situation and update the market as appropriate.”
Its comments came as it reported a 3% fall in full-year profits to £47.4m.
Shares in Robert Walters fell 4.5%.
