Jeff Goldblum reveals debut jazz album at St Pancras International

Yesterday, Jeff Goldblum, beloved for his roles in the Jurassic Park franchise, Independence Day and The Grand Budapest Hotel, announced in person his forthcoming album, at St Pancras International with an exclusive solo performance on the station’s main concourse. The star chose to delight the public by playing one of the station’s legendary pianos, giving a taster of his album, ‘The Capitol Studios Sessions’, which was recorded with his long-time band The Mildred Snitzer Orchestraand will be released on 9th November on Decca. Jeff’s impromptu live performance was interspersed with some of his characteristic improvised comedy and a crowd sing-along.

Jeff Goldblum said, “I always like playing out and about. Ya never know who yer gonna meet. And music soothes the savage breast! Or is it beast?”

Jeff Goldblum and The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra release ‘The Capitol Studios Sessions’ on 9th November 2018 on Decca, and perform at Cadogan Hall on Sat 17 Nov and Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club on Thurs 22 Nov as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival.
