Competition watchdog probes Evri and DHL tie-up

The competition watchdog is to investigate Evri and DHL’s tie-up to become one of the UK’s largest delivery firms.

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) said they probe to find out if the deal will “result in a substantial lessening of competition” within the postal sector.

The CMA said, “The CMA is issuing this preliminary ‘invitation to comment’ to allow interested parties to submit to the CMA any initial views on the impact that the transaction could have on competition in the UK.”
