Russians warned they are ‘under siege’ as NATO are simulating ‘nuclear strikes’ on the border

29th May 24 10:35 am

Russians have been told by Vladimir Putin that Russia is “under siege” as NATO are preparing to attack the country with nuclear weapons.

Putin has claimed that NATO is practicing nuclear strikes on Russia and the deputy director of the FSB intelligence service, general Vladimir Kulishov also backed this claim.

The general did not provide any further details over the claim and his warning comes as Putin has ordered their own nuclear military exercises.

“In the vicinity of the Russian border, there is an increase in NATO’s reconnaissance activities and an intensification of operational and combat training events,” he said.

“Scenarios of military actions against the Russian Federation – including nuclear strikes on our territory – are being practised.”

On Russia-1 TV Kremlin propagandist Dmitry Kiselyov showed the footage of Russian forces deploying a Tu-22M3 long-range bomber along with a Kinzhal hypersonic missile.

Footage also shows Russian forces with an Iskander mobile short-range ballistic missile system which can launch conventional and nuclear weapons.

Kiselyov announced that they have now deployed nuclear weapons, he said, “Nuclear missiles in Russia have been moved from storages, taken to their positions, installed and readied.”

He added, “here is the Iskander operational-tactical complex being moved to a combat position.”

He then said that Kinzhal missiles “in nuclear version with a red head, suspended from a MiG-31 fighter.”

The exercises started in the Southern Military District with “practical testing of the preparation and use of non-strategic nuclear weapons.”

This allegedly started because the British Foreign Secretary Lord David Cameron has allowed Kyiv to use UK’s long-range missiles to attack targets inside Russia.
