The British Foreign Secretary Luz Truss has been warned by another MP from Russia’s Parliament that “one Sarmat missile is enough to wipe out the islands of Britain.”

This comes as last week Truss gave a speech on Wednesday at Mansion House that the UK are determined to defeat Vladimir Putin and drive his forces out of Ukraine.

Russia perceives this to be a direct threat which has enraged Russian MPs in the Duma and they’ve hit back with their usual rhetoric of threatening the UK with a nuclear strike as Britain is firmly in their crosshairs.

Sergey Mironov, leader of the Just Russia faction, told fellow MPs in the Duma, that the British Foreign Secretary is playing with fire.

In a daming speech he said, “Someone tell Liz that one Sarmat missile is enough to wipe out the islands of Britain.”

“Maybe she just doesn’t get it,” he added.

London and Washington have been accused of running the war effort against Russia by supplying thousands of tonnes of weaponry to Ukraine, Mironov said.

He added, “They have already warned about possible strikes against decision making centres in Moscow.

“But we see that decisions are not made in Kyiv, where only pitiful puppets sit.

“Decisions are made in London, Washington and Bonn [sic.], where they are getting ready to deliver heavy weaponry to the ‘banderites’.”

He concluded, “And you thought it was possible to destroy us through someone else’s hands and watch from the sides from a safe distance?

“That’s not going to happen, gentlemen. You will have to pay for everything in full yourselves.”

Dmitry Kolezev, an journalist and editor of the independent Russian news website Republic.ru, tweeted in response to the threat, “Pro-Kremlin speakers were clearly given the go-ahead to threaten nuclear war.

“First Simonyan, now Mironov. Even if it’s a bluff, it’s still bad.”
