Jet2 cancels all flights and holidays to Spanish Islands and mainland

Following the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) decision to reinstate travel warnings Jet2 have announced that from Tuesday all flights and holidays are cancelled.

The cancelled flights and holidays apply to mainland Spain, Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Majorca, Menorca and Ibiza, from today, until 17 August.

Major flight hubs have issued warnings to holidaymakers who have booked with Jet2, these airports are, London Stansted, East Midlands, Manchester, Newcastle and Edinburgh.

Holidaymakers who have booked flights with Jet2 are being warned not to travel to the airport, and check departure details before travelling to the airport.

Jet2 said in a tweet, “Please note that all Jet2 flights to mainland Spain, Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Majorca, Menorca and Ibiza have been cancelled tomorrow (28 July).

“Passengers for these flights are advised not to travel to the airport. Follow @jet2tweets for updates.”
