Having supplied millions of hand sanitisers during the pandemic, the company is now set to bring innovation and science to stagnant household hygiene categories.
With an eye on attracting younger customers into mass retail, the introduction of three new ranges have been developed with proprietary technology in the UK to deliver next generation, plant powered performance.
After noticing that competitors in the space are simply putting prices up rather than offering true innovation, INEOS is taking a different approach. Each of its next generation products have been scientifically developed with a laser focus on product benefits that can make the biggest impact on performance.
Putting science and sustainability at its heart, INEOS used their UK R&D centre to make the new ranges that deliver on performance and simplify the offer, to provide multi-purpose solutions to save shoppers money and space.
The surface spray and wipes are made with plant-based cleansers and not only kill 99.9% of bacteria and viruses*, but wipe out the heaviest grease, grime, limescale and watermarks, meaning they are ideal for both bathrooms AND kitchens, plus other rooms in the house too, offering consumers great value.
The non-bio concentrated laundry liquid, which is also made with plant-based cleansers, removes stains without using animal enzymes which are known to irritate skin and damage clothes; and delivers amazing results at cooler temperatures, even at 20˚C, which will save shoppers money and help to do their bit for the environment.
The washing up liquid is a 2 in 1 dish and hand wash – which means people can use it to wash the dishes – but it can be used without fear of irritation for the hands too. This means that people don’t need more than one bottle next to their kitchen sink.

The products were so well received by the market that ASDA beat another high street name to strike an exclusive deal to stock all four products across 500 stores nationwide.
Tait continues, “The well-established, decades old household sector has not embraced new technologies or science, so we set out to do better.
“16 new products have been carefully designed after months of research, listening to the views of thousands of shoppers.
“Each product uses proprietary technology, is plant based and has not been tested on animals. We started at the beginning of the development process to improve the performance of every element at least 10 per cent compared to the current high street offer. It all adds up to redefine value for our customers.
“Our ‘active fragrances’ can either help you sleep better when used on your bedsheets or boost your performance when used on your sports clothes or help you concentrate at work.
“This is a huge market that is just not delivering and is ripe for innovation. We believe that for too long this sector has not served consumers well and we are changing that with revolutionary products that will help every customer.”
