The supermarket giant Asda has announced they have cut fuel prices amid a drop in wholesale costs, reducing the price of a litre of petrol and diesel by 2p.

Drivers will now pay no more than £1.24 per litre of diesel and £1.20 for petrol across 322 of Asda’s petrol stations.

Asda senior fuel buyer Dave Tyrer said, “With Christmas just around the corner, we’re pleased to be able lower the cost of fuel and pass these savings on to our customers.”
