The Met Office has issued a yellow warning as the UK is set to be hit with heavy rain and thunderstorms which could cause treacherous conditions and travel disruption.
Parts of the England and Northern Ireland is expected to see hail, lightning and heavy rain moving northwards with fears of flooding.
The public are being advised to expect transport delays and some people could experience power cuts.

The Met Office said, “Scattered thunderstorms will develop on Monday afternoon bringing some disruption to travel in places.
“There is a good chance driving conditions will be affected by spray, standing water and or hail, leading to longer journey times by car and bus.
“Delays to train services are possible. Some short term loss of power and other services is likely.”
