A two minute silence was observed today to mark Armistic Day to honour those who lost their lives in conflict.
The country fell silent at 11am this morning for two minutes marking the end of a four year bloody war in 1918 where the Allies made on the “11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.”
The Duchess of Cornwall attended that 93rd Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey along with hundreds of veterans from past conflicts as Big Ben rang across London.
Delegates at COP26 in Glasgow stopped and observed a two minute silence to commemorate those who have fallen.
