Met Office issues weather warnings for high winds ‘across central England’

The Met Office has issued a weather warning for high winds which will hit “central England” on Thursday morning which will “ease” later “in the afternoon.”

The Met Office said, “Winds will strengthen across central England this morning with gusts widely 45-50 mph developing and a few places seeing gusts around 55 mph. Winds will ease from the west from later in the afternoon.”

They added, “gusty winds are expected through Thursday with some disruption in places.”

People are being warned to expect delays on the road, rail and with flights ans journeys could take longer.
