Labour could be delivered a humiliating blow as their stronghold of 114-years could see large parts switching to Reform UK.
This would be a massive blow for Labour as according to a new poll Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party are in second place in Welsh politics.
According to the Find Out Now poll Labour is placed thirds and had 23% of Welsh voters withing six months since the 4 July general election.
However, according to ElectionMapsUK are predicting that Labour will behind as they are set to hold 11 seats in Wales and Reform UK will take 12 seats, at the time of writing.
They are predicting that the Conservatives will take seven seats and Plaid Cymru will hold just three.
A Reform UK spokesperson said of the polling, “Reform has all the momentum in Welsh politics.
Whilst the Labour and the Tories chop and change leaders, taking their eye off the Welsh people’s priorities, we are building a team to offer real change in Wales.
“Labour and the Tories have failed Welsh people in both Cardiff Bay and Westminster. The people of Wales want real change in 2026 and that is just what we plan to offer them. Wales needs Reform.”
