Boris Johnson and his girlfriend Carrie Symonds are expecting their first baby, and they have announced that they are now engaged.
A spokesperson for the couple said, “The prime minister and Miss Symonds are very pleased to announce their engagement and that they are expecting a baby in the early summer.”
They have lived in Number 10 Downing Street since July 2019 and have a dog called Dilyn.
