Multinational ‘Magic Circle’ law firm, Linklaters LLP who were granted a temporary injunction against a former employee Frank Melish, have today come to an agreement.

Mellish who was chief marketing officer had threatened to reveal documents that could reveal alleged, “ongoing struggle” with women at the law firm.

A settlement was agreed on Monday between Melish and the Magic Circle law firm, Mellish has agreed to destroy the confidential information, and further agreed not to disclose certain information.

A spokesperson for Linklaters said, “We can confirm that the court has approved an order reached by agreement which, in effect, makes the previous order final and brings these proceedings to an end.

“We did not take the decision to apply for an injunction lightly. We have a strong, supportive workplace culture and everyone working with us should be able to rely on information shared confidentially with the firm remaining confidential.”
