alThe Duchess of Cornwall has admitted on Wednesday that the Duke of Edinburgh is suffering in hospital as sadly his treatment “hurts at moments.”
This is Prince Philips, 99, is the UK’s longest serving consort, and has now spent his longest ever stay as he has now been in hospital for 15 nights.
Speaking of her father-in-law, Camilla said the Duke’s health is “slightly improving” and “we keep our fingers crossed.”
Prince Philip is currently in St Barts Hospital in London and is undergoing tests for a pre-existing heart condition, with treatment for an infection.
Royal experts have warned that Prince Philip’s health “is not good” and the “mood” at Buckingham Palace is “concerned” and has “definitely shifted.”
A royal family expert said this week that the Duke of Edinburgh’s, transfer to St Barts Hospital has “definitely shifted” the mood at Buckingham Palace.
Robert Jobson told Australian 7News Sunrise, “We’re now getting more details about the infection and the fact that they are monitoring his heart.
“The tone is definitely different from the people I speak to outside of the press offices.
“The mood is very concerned.
“Obviously they’re hoping to get him out by the end of the week and return to Windsor Castle.
“He’s not in a great state at the moment, it seems.
