Whilst peace talks have come to an end in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Vladimir Putin’s response to peace is to inflict a “barbaric” and brutal drone and missile attack over Ukraine.
Overnight the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv and Kharkiv were attacked leaving millions with out power, heating, energy and lack the essentials to be able to cook or even go to the toilet.
The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Putin’s attacks on Ukraine demonstrates that the Russian dictator is “not ready” for peace.
President Zelensky said during the World Economic Forum (WEF), “The key is that Russia must be ready to end the war it started.”
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said that as peace talks are being conducted, this is “cynical,” adding, “This barbaric attack once again proves that Putin’s place is not at the board of peace, but at the dock of the special tribunal.”
On Saturday mid-morning Dnipro started coming under attack and remains under an aerial bombardment at the time of writing.
Our very own Shaun Pinner, the author of Live, Fight, Survive who is in Dnipro risking his life once again is witnessing Russia’s horrors, he wrote on social media, “This is not random, this is not “collateral damage.” This is Vladimir Putin’s winter plan in plain sight.
“Unable to defeat Ukraine’s army, Russia targets civilians instead, power stations, substations, heating networks, gas infrastructure.
“The aim is simple and brutal, to turn cold into a weapon. Freeze cities into submission. Break families by plunging homes into darkness while temperatures drop below zero making survival itself the battlefield.”
Earlier on Saturday gave a the former “Defender of Mariupol” warned, “Russia is preparing for a spring offensive. That preparation starts now and continues over the next couple of months, force generation, logistics, ammunition stockpiling, and probing attacks knocking out power.

“Trump wants “peace” at any cost, including Ukrainians. In practice, that means buying Putin time. When that time is used to rearm and attack, Trump will inevitably turn and blame Zelensky for “not wanting peace.”
“Putin has annexed way more territory than he controls, he wants Kyiv, and that’s not going to change.
“Four hours of continuous attacks on Dnipro. Anti-aircraft fire & Explosions. Drones in daylight are especially dangerous at weekends when civilians are out and about. This is terrorism 101. These strikes serve no military purpose.
“They are designed solely to send a message while so-called “peace talks” are being floated. Talks which, frankly, are a waste of time in my view, facilitated by a U.S. administration and Witkoff, whose financial ties to Russia represent a glaring conflict of interest in any process claiming to be a serious or trustworthy negotiation.
“Russia bombs civilians in broad daylight while diplomats talk, that’s not peace-building, that’s a message.”
