The Ukrainian and Russian delegations have completed negotiations on the Ukrainian and Belarus border on Monday afternoon, Adviser to the Interior Minister Anton Gerashchenko said.
“Negotiations between Ukraine and Russia have been completed,” Gerashchenko said on his Telegram channel.
However, Russian media said that negotiations are ongoing a correspondent at the place of the talks said on the air of one of the channels, “There was a leak that supposedly the talks were over, at least we here present do not know anything about it, everything is going on.”
Following the Ukraine’s request Chelsea FC’s Roman Abramovich was also in attendance to achieve a peaceful solution.
“I can confirm that Roman Abramovich was contacted by the Ukrainian side for support in achieving a peaceful resolution, and that he has been trying to help ever since,” Abramovich’s spokesperson told the PA news agency.
