One in three Londoners believe that mayor of London Boris Johnson is ‘a mayor for the wealthy’, according to a poll by the Evening Standard.
Thirty seven per cent of the 1060 Londoners who took part in the YouGov survey, feel that Boris would cater first to London’s richest.
Despite this, Boris has a 53 per cent to 47 per cent lead over arch rival Ken Livingstone.
In a live debate on LBC 97.3 earlier this month, Boris accused Ken of speaking “f***ing lies” about the current mayor channelling his earnings through a private company.
