King Charles III will pay his staff “out of his own pocket” a bonus of up to £600 to help his workers with the cost of living.

Staff at the Royal household will receive their bonus this month on top of their salary, which will cost the King tens of thousands of pounds of his own money, the Sun reported.

An insider said that taxpayers money will not be used and staff who earn less than £30,000 a year will receive a £600 bonus in a one off payment.

Staff who earn £30,000 and £40,000 will receive a one off payment of £400, and workers who earn between £40,000 and £45,000 are set to be given a bonus of £350.

An insider told the Sun, “The King is giving money out of his own pocket to the lowest earners working for the household to help them cope with the cost-of-living crisis.”
