Big Ben is to chime for the first time since New Year’s Eve, as technical tests are being conducted for Remembrance Sunday.
Big Ben will chime on Monday evening and on Thursday morning in preparation for the 11 chimes to mark the two-minute silence on 10 November at 11am.
Big Ben, formally known as the Elizabeth Tower chimes were silenced for safety concerns over a four-year restoration project.
