Sternberg Clarke, London’s leading entertainment supplier for corporate events, private parties and weddings will join forces withentertainment and creative live production agency GS Live to bring a performance by Dolce Vita Live to celebrate one of Italy’s biggest icons, Mina Mazzini.

Taking place at The Pheasantry Chelsea, the tribute event, never done before, will give guests the opportunity to revel in a voice that defined an era in Italy; when the country was the most sought after place on earth and the world looked to Rome as the lifestyle capital.

The London-based vintage Italian band, Dolce Vita Live, will recreate the sound of 1960s Italy under the direction of bandleader Bruno D’Ambra, featuring the amazing voice of Francesca Confortini as Mina, and taking the audience on a journey through the astonishing early career of Mina.

Eclectic, eccentric and an electrifying performer, Mina was a towering figure in the Italian music scene for more than 50 years, delivering everything from rock n roll to opera with her unmistakable, three-octave soprano voice.

Sternberg Clarke director Adam Sternberg, comments: “The icon that is Mina evokes everything that a distinctive entertainer and performer should. Staging a tribute to this beloved artist has never been done and we are so excited to bring the music, lifestyle and glamour she epitomises to London.”

Gaia Saccomanno, managing director at GS Live adds: “It is an honour to pay homage and celebrate an icon who brought Italian music to a global audience. Mina reshaped Italian song in the 1960s, mixing blues, soul and pop to create an unmistakable sound. Transporting listeners back to the jazz clubs of Via Veneto, Dolce Vita Live is the perfect ensemble to characterise the powerful voice and theatrical stage persona of the Italian national treasure.”
