Another terrorist detained

A 37-year-old man was arrested by counter-terror police at Stansted Airport on 23 May Scotland Yard has revealed Tuesday.

Scotland Yard confirmed that he was charged Tuesday, with preparing for acts of terrorism contrary to section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006.

Aweys Faqey was arrested as he tried to board a flight to Turkey and is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates today.

Police have said that this terror suspect is not linked to the Manchester terror attack that took place last week.
