Rentokil Initial saw a leap in call-outs across Europe and the UK in the last six months of 2018, which saw sales rise 10.1% in Europe and 4.2% in the UK.
Pre-tax profits sharply rose to £308m by 8.8% in 2018 and the FTSE 100 company shares were up 5%.
Andy Ransom, chief executive of Rentokil, said 2018 had been a “very good year” for Rentokil Initial and the outlook for 2019 has nudged up.
Ransom said, “We are confident of delivering further progress in 2019 and anticipate a slight increase in market expectations for 2019.”
