In association with Tsingtao
Ping Pong Fight Club, the world’s greatest inter-company ping pong tournament and Tsingtao, the world’s second biggest beer brand are proud to announce Ping Pong Fight Club London to be held at Oval Space Bethnal Green, 23 November.
Not for the faint-hearted and not open to the general public, Ping Pong Fight Club mimics the underground feel of the Fight Club movie with an eight-table ‘fighting arena’ where ‘ping pong gladiators’ will go head to head for their company’s bragging rights to be crowned ‘Ping Pong Fight Club Champions’. ‘Fighting’ starts at 6pm through till 11pm.
Now in its sixth year, Ping Pong Fight Club involves 16 companies, 64 players and hundreds of supporters in a spectacular team building, networking and fundraising night out.
Not your run-of-the-mill corporate affair, Fight Club features a unique mix of DJs, pop-up bars, speed ping pong networking, social play zones, street food, ‘fight-off’ challenges, ping pong robots, and Tsingtao’s famous Beer Pong Championships! Face painters are on hand to draw company logos, battle scars and butterflies and with the ‘Chancers Championships’ giving first round losers another chance at glory – everyone is involved until the very last ball hit!
Start-ups and global brands alike, such as Facebook, Spotify, Google Deep Mind, Deliveroo, Funding Circle, Lendinvest, Expedia, Ticketmaster, Moo.com, Laundrapp and Zopa have all discovered that Ping Pong Fight Club is an exciting and inclusive new way to engage, bond and motivate their teams. From the intern to the CEO, everyone gets to play, network, have fun and socialise with their colleagues and like-minded people from other companies.
There are packages to suit every company’s budget, with ‘The Rookie’ package for start-ups (up to 30 employees),to a ‘Champions’ package for sector leaders (up to 150 employees). Guests will receive complimentary drinks on arrival – including Tsingtao Beer, of course – as well as company-branded T-shirts and wristbands, professional pictures and videos for companies to use in their corporate comms after the event.
There are also huge prizes up for grabs – not just for the winners, but also through an online charity raffle, which last time out included brand new professional table tennis tables, camera drones and GoPros. Five per cent of the registration fees are also are donated to the winners and PPFC’s nominated good causes:

This event always gets such a great response from staff – from the ultra-competitive to the non-sporty types. Some companies invite their competitors too, as it’s the perfect way to throw down the gauntlet in a fun and social way.”
“One of the best events we have attended – Ping Pong Fight Club. And now it’s going nationwide – and I hope Global! It’s an awesome way of engaging your staff, meeting and networking with other great brands and of course having an ace night out.
