On 4 July Labour won the general election and 103 days in more Brits are saying the government is “sleazy.”
Sir Keir Starmer has faced severe criticism after he accepted more than £100,000 in freebies, from football tickets to designer clothes and events.
Labour said during the run up to the election they will be “serving the country” and in their manifesto they accused the SNP and Tories of failing to “uphold the standards expected in public life.”
According to a YouGov poll more than half of Brits had expected Starmer’s party to behave properly with standards in public office and some 38% are saying that Labour has behaved poorly.
Some 25% said there would be bad expectations from the start and Labour has delivered on that part and a mere 18% believe Starmer’s party has behaved well in 103 days.
