The EU’s statistical office, Eurostat has announced today that Eurozone annual inflation has dropped to its lowest in eight months from 1.9% in November to 1.6%.
Emanuele Canegrati BP prime analyst said, “Eurozone CPI was unexpectedly steady, this could make the European Central Bank’s monetary stance more hawkish and convince Frankfurt to hike rates in the summer, in a ‘now or never’ decision.”
