Torrential rain causes flooding across London and Gants Hill station is closed

Commuters Friday evening are facing a wet and chaotic journey home as Gants Hill station, East London is closed due to flooding TfL confirmed.

The rain started around 2:30 Friday afternoon with huge thunder storms, at the time of writing this there is still a light rumble in the air.

Wes Streeting MP for the Labour Party was out canvassing when the downpour started, he said in a tweet:
