A recent survey conducted by DAPS Agency and Perspectus Global showed that Brits have strong but mixed feelings about the passing of the late Queen. 70% think she was devoted to her country but only 38% think she was fair and diplomatic.
21% think this will unite us as a nation and 10% think this will be the end of the Commonwealth – 17% think this signifies the beginning of the end for the royal family
70% of Brits think Harry, Charles and William will reunite – and 75% of young people want to see this happen
1 in 5 cried at the Queen’s passing and a third of Brits feel that they have lost someone they know – 70% think we should have had the day off today.
A large proportion of Brits are less influenced: 28% of Brits think the Queen’s passing makes no difference to how they feel and 15% believe we should abolish the monarchy
In matters close to home, 70% of Brits said they would struggle to pay for a funeral for an elderly relative and would have no financial plan for this.
83% of Brits think the world will mourn the Queen.
