The firm behind Russell Hobbs, Ultimate Products has posted a rise in their half year sales.
The group had a revenue increase of 36% to £65.8m in the six months to 31 January, with pre-tax profit soaring by 48.5% to £5.9m.
Ultimate Products owns Beldray and also holds the licence to sell Salter Kitchenware ranges and Russell Hobbs in the UK.
Growth was driven solid performance in all four of the group’s divisions, international, supermarkets discounters and online.
Simon Showman chief executive said, “We are delighted with the strong recovery in trading that the business has delivered in the first half of the year.
“These results should be taken as a clear sign of the adaptability and resilience of our business model, especially when viewed against the ongoing difficult trading conditions within the UK general merchandise market.”
