Motorcylist killed in crash on Battersea Bridge in west London

Here’s what happened

A motorcyclist travelling on Battersea Bridge was killed Wednesday morning, after a collision with a Toyota Prius at 6:40am.

He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, the driver of the car stopped and police have said no arrests have been made.

A spokesman for the Met police said: “Police were called to Beaufort Street/Battersea Bridge Road at 0641hrs on Wednesday, 4 October to reports of a collision between a Toyota Prius and a Honda motorcycle.

“Officers attended. A 35-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.”
