The Met Office issued severe weather warnings across the southern regions of England.
One look at Twitter and youโll find many photos of London looking serene in thick fog.
Yet, the mist has brought misery to commuters all around the capital.
Heathrow Airport has had to cancel 45 flights, or 10% of departures while London City Airport and Gatwick saw a โconsiderable numberโ of cancellations too.
Yesterday, Heathrow saw over 50 cancellations due to poor visibility.
Car commuters face disruption too as visibility is expected to reduce to 100 metres or less.
