After news that telecoms firm TalkTalk are considering a takeover offer from investment firm Toscafund, which has valued the company at £1.1bn share surged 16%.
The telecoms firm said that they are to consult with advisors, and the board have “agreed to progress the proposal further.”
The takeover proposal comes as customers are constantly dissatisfied with service levels from TalkTalk.
