Plane manufacturer Boeing is considering reducing or suspending production of its grounded 737 MAX after the Federal Aviation Administration said last week it would not approve the plane’s return to service before 2020, according to reports.
The company could make an announcement as soon as Monday, with the board considering a proposal to temporarily cease production.
After two crashes – one in Ethiopia and another in Indonesia – aviation authorities grounded the 737 Max and Boeing halted delivery.
