A total of seven women in the UK have made sexual assault allegations against disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein.

Met officers are investigating separate incidents alleged to have taken place between the 1980s and 2015 in London and outside of the UK.

The Hollywood film producer has ‘unequivocally denied’ any allegations of non-consensual sex.

According to the Metropolitan Police, no arrests have been made at this stage over the allegations. Earlier in October, the Met Police had stated that they were investigating an allegation committed in the 1980s, along with three other women that were reportedly attacked in Westminster, Camden and west London.

New York police is simultaneously investigating claims against the 65-year-old Hollywood producer after numerous women came forward, including actresses Angelina Jolie, Rose McGowan and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Weinstein had also been banned for life over reports of his “decades of reprehensible conduct”.
