Home Secretary Theresa May has topped ConservativeHome’s monthly reader poll as most likely to succeed David Cameron to become Conservative leader.
May took 23% of the vote. It’s the second month running she’s come out on top.
But there were only three people’s votes in it between her and Boris Johnson, who took 22% of 800 responses and came in second.
Michael Gove took 14%, down from 17% last month, and William Hague is also at 14%, up from 10% last month.
