How students can cope with the pandemic stress

Try to create a routine even if it’s not very stringent, and stick to it. Make a simple to-do list of all things you need to do in a day. When you are able to successfully comply with a routine, it gives you a sense of achievement and makes you feel good about yourself.

3. Use technology the right way

Instead of surfing the internet for hours and feeling overwhelmed by the information, try to leverage its power in a more productive way. Use whatever applications or technology you find convenient to host virtual parties with your friends or cousins.

This will help you feel connected and give you the space to be creative with the activities you can indulge in. Plan fun group activities for a video conference call that give you a sense of social engagement. Celebrate birthdays, small achievements, or even just the weekend. 

4. Sleep on time

Since there is no need to wake up early and travel to school/college, you may be sleeping at odd hours and waking up last minute to log in to the online class. Insufficient sleep can increase stress levels.

Conversely, increased stress levels can affect your sleep quality and make it difficult for you to get proper rest. A night of good 8-hour sleep can enhance your mood and make you feel more energetic.
