The Met Office have issued a heat warning and are urging people to take precautions as the mercury is set to reach up to 32C this weekend.
People are being urged to take precautions in the heat as forecasters believe Sunday could be the hottest day of the year, with the weekend being the warmest thus far.
Public Health England (PHE) are telling people to remain hydrated and keep cool as a health alert has been issued with high temperature to be “widespread across the bulk of Britain.”

Meteorologist, Aidan McGivern said, “31C, 32C wouldn’t be out of the question as well,” as it “will be even hotter on Sunday.”
Will Lang, head of civil contingencies at the Met Office, added, “Across most parts of the UK we’re expecting to see temperatures building, reaching heatwave thresholds across the majority of England over the weekend.
“High temperatures will remain a feature of the forecast until Tuesday, when fresher conditions arrive curtailing heatwave levels.”
