London terrorist attacks: Seven killed and 48 injured in van and knife attack

The Metropolitan Police have confirmed Sunday, that seven people have been killed and 48 were injured by three terrorists who were shot dead by police in Saturday evenings terror attack.

It is understood that the attackers were wearing fake suicide vests and they taken out within a staggering eight minutes by armed police.

It has been reported the attackers shouted, “this is for Allah” as they stabbed and killed people with knives as big as 12 inches, including a police officer.

Cressida Dick, the Metropolitan Police commissioner spoke a at a press conference Sunday morning. Dick said: “Many, many people risked their own safety to help others and to treat those seriously injured and indeed to confront the suspects involved.”

“It is clear to be that the courage of those people was extraordinary and I pay tribute to all of them who came to the aid of those in need during this dreadful attack and I am sure helped to save lives.”

This is the third terrorist attack in the UK in three months.
