Travel misery
Passenger travelling out of terminals three and five from Heathrow Airport may have to “travel without their bags” and are being advised “to pack essential items in their hand luggage,” Heathrow Airport has said.
Other terminals are unaffected and flights to the US and Europe are affected, airlines that are affected are British Airways, American Airlines and Iberia.
It was only three weeks ago that British Airways had a catastrophic global IT outage that affected thousands of passengers.
Heathrow Airport are investigating why baggage failure has happened and are working to resolve the situation.
