Ukrainian forces have attacked a “military facility in Russia” using a US made “ATACMS long-range ballistic missile” on Tuesday for the first time.
The ballistic missile hit a military facility near to the city of Karachev in the Bryansk Oblast region some 80 miles from Ukraine.
An arsenal of a logistics centre was destroyed and twelve drone strikes were also used in the region, Russian authorities said there was no damage or casualties.

Residents in the Krachev said there was explosions and detonations caused by the Ukrainian attack on a “military base.”
The destruction of Russian ammunition warehouses in order to stop Russian aggression against Ukraine will continue,” the military said in a statement.
Andrii Kovalenko, head of Ukraine’s counter-disinformation center at the National Security and Defense Council, said the Ukrainian attack struck the 67th arsenal of Russia’s Main Missile and Artillery Directorate, the Kyiv Independent reports.
A source within the Defense Forces told RBC-Ukraine, “Indeed, for the first time, we used ATACMS to strike Russian territory. The strike was carried out against a facility in the Bryansk region, and it was successfully hit.”
The destruction of munitions depots for the Russian occupying army to end Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine will continue,” the Ukrainian General Staff said.
