The Palestinian Red Crescent Society has said Israeli military has ordered them to evacuate Gaza’s largest hospital, al-Quds.

The humanitarian group wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter that the al-Quds hospital is going to be “bombarded.”

They added, “PRCS has just received serious threats from the occupation authorities to immediately evacuate al Quds Hospital in the Gaza Strip, as it is going to be bombarded.”

Warplanes are bombing roads to the al-Quds hospital and to the as Shifa medical facility which is packed with thousands of patients and they have nowhere to go.

The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) have said that Palestinian militants have embedded themselves inside the hospitals, but Hamas has denied this and said it is all “lies” which is a “precursoe for striking this facility.”

Sky News reported that Mahmoud al Sawah, who is sheltering in the hospital said, “Reaching the hospital has become increasingly difficult.

“It seems they want to cut off the area.”

Overnight more Israeli troops entered Gaza joining forces who are already embedded in the territory striking Hamas fighters.

The IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari said, “Throughout the night, we expanded the entry of IDF troops into the Gaza Strip. They joined the forces already fighting there.”

The IDF said that fighter jets struck 450 targets inside Gaza in a 24 hour period and an Israeli soldier was 2moderately” injured whilst “engaging” with Hamas fighters in the northern part of the territory.

Qatar’s Foreign Ministry has warned on Sunday that Israel’s ground offensive will have “catastrophic repercussions” on the stability of the Middle East.

The Foreign Ministry accused Israel’s operation as a policy of “collective punishment and attempts to forcibly displace the Palestinian people,” and they are committing violations of international and humanitarian law.

Qatar’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement, “The State of Qatar expresses its deep concern over the Israeli ground incursion into Gaza Strip, and considers it a dangerous development that will have devastating security and humanitarian effects in the Strip, especially on the safety of civilians and hostages.

“It also warns of the catastrophic repercussions on the security and stability of the region.”
