Met Police ‘won’t say a word’ over Palestinian flags as there is ‘more of them’ whilst angry veterans are hit with a new rule

The Metropolitan Police has sparked outrage amongst thousands of former British veterans as Palestinian flags can fly because “there’s way more of them.”

Former veterans unlike previous years are now no longer allowed to decorate the barriers with flags as the Met Police has told them they “can waive the British flag only behind barricades.”

The Met Police has been accused of “harassing British patriots” as they are allowing thousands of pro-Palestinians to take over London.

A cop moaned to a veteran “there’s way more of them than there are of us,” which could imply that if the Met Police are outnumbered then they allow the law to be broken.

Video footage from the Cenotaph shows the moment when Met Police tell a former British veteran to keep flags behind the barricades.

Daniel Schwammenthal, director of the American Jewish Committee’s Transatlantic Institute, shared the footage on social media.

He said, “What does it mean for the UK if the London police tell British veterans they can waive the British flag only behind barricades?”

A cop said, “You can hold it and wave it. But displaying on the barriers is not allowed.”

One of the veterans said, “When they march down with hundreds of Palestinian flags you won’t say a word.”

Another added, “They were flying the Palestine flags off Churchill the other day and you did nothing!”

One of the officers responds: “There’s way more of them than there are of us.”

The person filming the scene tells viewers: “The police are harassing patriots here about their flags.”
