Passenger numbers for Ryanair have climbed to 14.2m in July, and Lauda air the Austrian low-cost airline acquired by Ryanair saw 600,000 passengers.
The low cast airline warned that hundreds of jobs are on the line last week, and has issued a number of profit warnings in recent months.
The airline has seen a lot of turbulence recently as the first quarter saw profits nosedive by 21% due to the rising cost of fuel and staff.
