Zelensky will not ‘sit down at the negotiating table with Russia’ whilst they ‘remain on our land’

President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that he will not “negotiate” peace with Russia whilst they “remain on our land.”

President Zelensky said the world has “the power” to force Russia to restore peace and Kyiv has developed a peace formula which is supported by the United Nations.

Zelesnky said, “Our world is great, but we are all in it together. And this is our common cause – peace. Ukraine has proposed a peace formula to the world.

“As long as the Russian invaders remain on our land, no one will sit down at the negotiating table with Russia,” he wrote.

“The colonizer must leave.”

He added, “But the world has the power to force Russia to restore peace step by step.

“We have developed a peace formula so that each of its points is supported by UN resolutions.

“So that everyone in the world can choose for himself the point that he will help implement. From Japan to the Arab countries, from Europe to Latin America, we find support for the peace formula. And we continue this work,” he also wrote.

The head of Ukrainian intelligence has said that Vladimir Putin has been preparing since 2007 to invade Ukraine.

Head of the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Major General Kyrylo Budanov said, that in 2014 Moscow “took advantage” and then started to wage their aggression.

Budanov said, “Russia has been actively preparing for aggression against Ukraine since 2007. In 2014, they took advantage of the moment convenient for them.

“And everything that follows – you saw how it moved.”

He added, that at the same time, had the war not started in 2014, “it would not have changed anything.

“The war between us was inevitable.”
