Ukraine will ‘neither confirm nor refute’ their Top Secret mission to blow up a Russian oil depot in Belgorod

Ukrainian military attack helicopters blew up a fuel storage depot in the Russian city of Belgrorod with footage showing several missiles hitting the facility early on Friday morning.

Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesperson Oleksandr Motuzianyk said they “will neither confirm nor refute” Ukraine’s involvement in obliterating the fuel depot in Belgorod.

“I would like to emphasize that as of today, the Ukrainian state is carrying out a defense operation to repel armed Russian aggression on the territory of Ukraine.

“And this does not mean at all that Ukraine should be responsible for all miscalculations and for all disasters and all events that occur on the territory of Russia.

“This is not the first time we see such accusations.

“Therefore, I will neither confirm nor refute this information,” Motuzianyk said at a briefing at the Ukrainian media center in Kyiv on Friday.

Two Ukrainian attack helicopter flew across the border at low altitude and obliterated the huge oil depot in the early hours of Friday morning in a revenge attack, governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov revealed.

The Top Secret mission happened at 5:43am local time and the facility is 25 miles from the Ukrainian border and is 50 miles from Kharkiv.

Eight fuel tanks are burning at the oil depot and there is a significant threat that the fire could spread to 16 more huge oil tanks, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.

Gladkov said on his telegram channel, “There was a fire at the oil depot in the city of Belgorod.
